NEET UG study guide
How to analyse a NEET UG mock without drowning in solutions
A subject-wise method for separating concept gaps, recall gaps, time issues, and avoidable errors after a NEET mock.
This preparation guide is written by ExamGrind's editorial desk. Official notices and source records are linked below whenever an exam rule, date or requirement needs verification.
Start with patterns, not every explanation
Reading every solution straight after a mock takes hours and often changes nothing. First sort wrong and skipped questions by subject and reason: concept missing, NCERT line/detail missed, formula/application error, time pressure, or misread question.
Repair the recurring leak first
A repeated Biology detail gap may deserve an NCERT revisit. Repeated Physics errors may reveal one formula condition or representation problem. Repeated Chemistry misses may point to an exception or reaction family. Pick one repeated leak and create a small repair that can be tested this week.
Track time without making it the villain
A slow question is not always a weak concept. Ask whether the route was unknown, calculation was inefficient, or the question should have been left for a later pass. Better selection and better methods are different repairs.

Keep this
A NEET mock should leave you with a ranked repair list, not an intimidating pile of explanations.
When you are ready, use a focused NEET UG diagnosis to turn your own attempts into the next specific repair.
